Guardians of GaHoole - Hortense

Hortense the spotted owl. Although she's an adult owl she has the appearance and size of an owlet as well as small, malformed wings, meaning she can't fly. Despite her disability she becomes a celebrated heroine in the Ga'Hoole series due to her brave actions in infiltrating the sinister St.Aggies Academy for Orphaned Owls and rescuing stolen eggs nearly at the cost of her own life.
